OSHP Board of Directors Meeting
April 3, 2009
With a quorum present, President-Elect/Acting President Clack called the meeting to order at 11:30 am at the OSU Conference Center, Tulsa, OK during the 2009 OSHP Annual Meeting.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
- Jennifer Bird, Western District Chair
- Greg Clack, President-Elect/Acting President
- Susan Conway, Immediate Past President
- Kari McCracken, Eastern District Chair
- Yvette Morrison, Treasurer
- Nancy Williams, Secretary
MEMBERS ABSENT:
- Lesley Maloney, President (has relocated to Washington, D.C.)
GUESTS PRESENT:
- Attendees of the 2009 OSHP Annual Meeting
BOARD REPORTS
- The 2008-2009 OSHP Annual Report was distributed as part of the meeting packet.

NEW BUSINESS
Awards Ceremony and Officer Installation
- Introduction - The 2008-09 OSHP Board members were introduced to the membership attending the meeting.
- OPhA Update - presented by Wiley Williams, Legislative Committee Chair
- SWOSU Update - presented by James Scruggs, Interim Dean
- OU Update - presented by Michelle Condren, Vice Chair
- Jennifer Bird presented the OSHP scholarship awards. Award winners for this year are:
- SWOSU - Asmini Mohanlal (not present at the meeting. Was accepted by Dean Scruggs.)
- OU - Renee Tobey
- Jennifer Bird presented the OSHP Continuing Excellence Award to Beth Resman-Targoff (who was not present at the meeting).
- Susan Conway presented the following recognition awards:
- Treasurer's Award - Yvette Morrison
- Western District Award - Jennifer Bird
- Lesley Maloney was recognized by Nancy Williams for her service as OSHP President with the President's Leadership Award and the President's Award. (Lesley was not present due to relocation to Washington, D.C.)
- Yvette Morrison presented the Immediate Past President's Award to Susan Conway.
- Yvette Morrison presented a donation on behalf of the OSHP membership to the ASHP Foundation.
- Shirley Dunn was presented with a token of appreciation for her service as OSHP Staff Secretary.
- Tracy Hagemann named Susan Conway OSHP Pharmacist of the Year.
- Karl Gumpper, representing ASHP, installed Greg Clack, Chelsea Church and Pete Johnson into their respective offices for 2009-10. Emily Borders was not in attendance and will be officially installed at a later date.
OSHP Board members for 2009-10 are as follows:

- Treasurer - Emily Borders
- Secretary - Nancy Williams
- Eastern District Chair - Kari McCracken
- Western District Chair - Pete Johnson
The next Board meeting date/time to be determined.
