Health-System Pharmacist of the Year.

The selection criteria for the award are:

Service to the profession

Contributions to pharmacy programs

Cooperation with the entire health care team

Service to the community

This years winner was Tracy Hagemann.

Tracy will chair the 2009 committee to select next year's winner.

Continuing Excellence Award

OSHP members are encouraged to apply for the Society's Continuing Excellence Award. This award consists of a plaque acknowledging the recipient's accomplishments and free registration to the OSHP Annual Meeting at which the award is presented. Applications are evaluated based on attainment of a required level of activity in three categories of service. Information and application forms will be sent to all active OSHP members.

Sylvia J. Martin Outstanding Technician Award

This award was created in 1998 to honor the memory of Sylvia J. Martin
a pharmacy technician at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.

This award may or may not be given annually depending on the qualifications of applicants. All applicants will be reviewed and voted upon by the Scholarship and Awards Committee with final approval by the Board of Directors.

Mr. Habib Arsala who works at Integris Baptist Medical Center won this award.
